Terms of Membership & Site Use

Last updated October 31, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Audacious AF LLC ("Audacious AF", "we", "us"). They cover audaciousaf.com, our events, the member portal, and membership. By using the site, applying, or becoming a member, you agree to them. You must be at least 18 to apply or become a member.

Some parts matter more than others: the sections on warranties, liability, and disputes limit what you can claim from us and send disputes to arbitration instead of court. Please read them.

Applying

You apply for Audacious AF membership at audaciousaf.com/apply. One application per person.

When you submit:

  • We store your answers. Your application is kept so our reviewers can read it, and it's attached to your record by the email you give us.
  • Your answers are shared with our membership reviewers. Real people read your application.
  • We may check your event attendance through Luma. If you've been to our events, we can see that, and it's part of your application.
  • You agree to your answers being accurate. If an application contains material inaccuracies, we may decline or revoke an offer made on it.

Review and decisions

Every application is read by our membership reviewers. We consider your experience, what you're hoping to get and give, and what you'd bring to the room.

We'll confirm receipt by email and follow up with a decision. We may accept, decline, or hold an application, and we may ask you for more information. Reviewer decisions are made at our discretion.

Applying is not a commitment to pay. You're only ever charged for membership if your application is accepted and you complete checkout.

Membership and billing

Membership is $249 per quarter.

Founding members keep their rate. Members of the first cohort pay $249 per quarter for as long as their membership stays active — that rate doesn't go up.

Your first payment of $249 is charged at checkout and covers the January–March 2027 membership. Your next payment of $249 is due April 1, 2027, and quarterly after that. The full checkout terms — billing dates, cancellation, and refunds — appear at checkout before you pay.

Being a member

Membership gets you the member portal, member events and workshops, the member directory, and the perks described in the portal. Membership is personal: it's for you, and accounts can't be shared or transferred.

We expect members to treat each other well. Be honest in the community, don't spam or solicit members in ways they didn't ask for, and don't use the member directory or portal to build contact lists or scrape member information. We can suspend or end a membership for conduct that harms members or the community — see "Suspension and termination" below.

What you post (asks & gives, directory)

The member directory lets you share posts — asks, gives, and your profile. That content is yours; you're responsible for what you post.

To run the community, you give us permission to store, display, and share your posts and profile with other members inside the portal. We don't sell your content or use it in marketing without asking you first. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share, and don't post other people's private information.

Credits, perks, and referrals

The portal may include internal credits you earn (for example, through referrals) and spend on perks. Credits are a community feature: they have no cash value, can't be bought or sold, can't be transferred between members, and don't roll into anything you can cash out. If your membership ends, unused credits are forfeited. Referral rewards are granted on the terms shown in the portal when you share your code.

Pausing, cancelling, and refunds

Cancel before your renewal date and you won't be billed again; your access continues through the end of the quarter you've paid for.

Membership payments are non-refundable. That includes cancelling partway through a quarter: your access runs to the end of the quarter, and the payment for it isn't refunded.

Event tickets and workshop seats bought by non-members are non-refundable. If the event was application-based, your ticket is also non-transferable: it's yours and can't be passed to someone else.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end a membership (and refuse a renewal) if we reasonably believe a member has broken these terms, harmed other members, or put the community at risk. Depending on how serious it is, that can mean losing access to the portal and directory immediately. If we end a membership for cause mid-quarter, no refund is owed for the remainder of that quarter.

Your data

Your application answers, membership record, and event attendance are kept in our systems and used to run the membership: review, onboarding, events, and member communications. We don't sell your data. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Questions about your data? Contact hello@audaciousaf.com.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us at hello@audaciousaf.com if you think someone else has used your account. You're responsible for what happens under it until you do. Keep the details you gave us accurate and up to date.

We communicate electronically: emails, and notices in the portal. Where a notice has to be in writing, an email or a portal notice counts.

Our content

The site, portal, events, and everything we make for them, including the name Audacious AF, our logo, our writing, and our designs, belong to us or the people who license them to us. You can use the site and portal for your own, non-commercial purposes as a member or visitor. Don't copy, resell, scrape, or reuse our content, or use our name or logo, without asking us first.

Using the site and portal

Don't use the site or portal to:

  • Break the law, or post anything unlawful, harassing, hateful, or deceptive.
  • Pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent who you work with.
  • Send spam, run promotions, or solicit members in ways they didn't ask for.
  • Collect member information, scrape the directory, or build contact lists from the portal.
  • Interfere with the site, probe its security, or try to reach accounts or data that aren't yours.

No warranties

We'll do our best, but the site, portal, and events are provided as they are and as available. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises that they'll be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that anything you learn through the community is accurate or will work for you. Nothing members, speakers, or partners say is advice from us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from the site, portal, events, or membership, however they come about, even if we were told they might happen. Our total liability to you for everything connected to these terms is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you've paid us nothing.

Some laws don't allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against us because of something you did, such as breaking these terms, breaking the law, or violating someone else's rights, you'll cover our costs, including reasonable legal fees.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Talk to us first. If you have a dispute with us, email hello@audaciousaf.com and we'll try to sort it out informally within 30 days.

Arbitration. If we can't, any dispute arising from these terms, the site, events, or membership will be resolved by binding, individual arbitration run by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, not in court before a judge or jury. Hearings happen by video unless the arbitrator decides otherwise, and any in-person hearing is in New York, New York. The arbitrator's decision is final and can be entered in any court. Either of us can still bring an individual claim in small claims court, and nothing here stops you from raising concerns with a government agency.

No class actions. Claims are brought one at a time: no class, collective, or representative actions, in arbitration or in court. If a court finds this waiver unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim goes to the state or federal courts in New York County, New York, and you agree to their jurisdiction.

Jury waiver. Where a dispute does end up in court, both of us give up the right to a jury trial.

The fine print

These terms, the checkout terms shown before you pay, and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the site, events, and membership. If part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce something right away, we can still enforce it later. You can't transfer your membership or these terms to anyone else; we can assign them if the business changes hands. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by things outside our reasonable control. The sections on content, warranties, liability, your responsibility to us, and disputes keep applying after your membership ends.

These terms can change — material changes get emailed to members in advance, and continuing to use the site or your membership after that means you accept them.
